Alexandros Skouralis
Hello, welcome to my website.

I am a Research Fellow in Real Estate & Finance at Bayes Business School, City, University of London.

My research interests include real estate markets, systemic risk, climate risk, applied macroeconomics and financial stability. I am also one of the co-authors of the Real Estate Quarterly Monitor that provides some fresh insight into how European debt and capital markets are valuing financial instruments with real estate backing.
I hold a PhD in Economics from Lancaster University and a MSc in Economics & Finance from the University of Bristol. I joined Bayes in 2021 and up until September 2023 I was involved in the Commercial Real Estate Lending report that aims to increase transparency in commercial mortgage markets for regulators and investors. Before Bayes, I worked as a researcher at the Central Bank of Ireland and as a teaching assistant at Lancaster University.
